The LifeZeus App Helper Chrome Extension ("Extension") is designed to help users stay focused by blocking or allowing access to specific websites during focus sessions. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The Extension operates entirely locally on your device. All data used by the Extension is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API and is never sent to any external servers.

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device:

• Site list: A list of websites you have configured to block or allow during focus sessions.
• Mode setting: Whether the Extension is operating in blacklist mode (blocking specific sites) or whitelist mode (allowing only specific sites).
• Running state: Whether website blocking is currently active.
• Language preference: Your preferred language for the blocked page message.

The Extension manages website access during your focus sessions:

• When you start a focus session on LifeZeus App, your blocking preferences are synced to the Extension.
• The Extension creates local blocking rules based on your preferences.
• When you try to visit a blocked site, you are redirected to a local "blocked" page within the Extension.
• When your session ends, all blocking rules are automatically removed.

The Extension requires certain browser permissions to function:

• Website blocking: Required to block or redirect access to websites you have chosen to block during focus sessions.
• Local storage: Required to remember your blocking preferences on your device.
• Access to websites: Required to be able to block any website you specify, not just a predefined list.

The Extension communicates with the LifeZeus web application to sync your blocking preferences. This ensures your focus session settings are applied consistently.

The Extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not share any data with third parties.

All locally stored data is automatically cleared when:

• You uninstall the Extension
• You clear your browser data
• Your focus session ends (blocking rules are removed)

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, this includes children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
